We focus on the orphans sector and we have a group of orphan families in Turkey we support them and also in Syria in Idlib
The Syrian conflict has resulted in one of the worst humanitarian crises of our time. More than half of the pre-war population—over 12 million people—have been killed or forced to flee their homes.Families are struggling to survive within Syria, in cities that have been devastated, or by establishing makeshift homes, such as tents, in border areas, particularly along Turkey’s borders, in search of safety. Others have built new lives in neighboring countries or risked their lives traveling to Europe in hopes of finding acceptance and opportunity.Harsh winters and scorching summers make life even more difficult for refugees, especially for children, women, and vulnerable groups. When we reflect on the aftermath of the conflict—the wounded, detained, those who lost limbs or lives, and the millions displaced as refugees, along with the economic and social consequences—the impact of the conflict seems overwhelming.
